Is Birch Plywood Durable?

Birch Plywood has superior strength. This durability is due to the way the layer orientation of each layer changes with respect to adjacent layers.

The moiré direction of each layer – the diagonal moire – is usually 90 degrees (right angle). This means that the moiré direction of every other layer is in the same direction, a layer with a 90 degree angle between them. However, its direction can be as little as 30 degrees. On a thicker plywood, seven layers can be arranged successively at 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 degree angles).
